Mr. Alan Amsterdam’s experience in Holland was to say the least, very enlightening on many levels. However, in the back of his mind he wanted to push for the legalization of cannabis in his hometown Washington DC.
After many great years of experience in the Amsterdam Cannabis Scene, he decided to move back to Washington DC. (During the early 2000’s).
Meanwhile, on his return to Washington, Alan was introduced to Adam Eidinger. They both met through a mutual acquaintance, who worked for Dr. Bronners hemp soap company.
In 2007 Alan came up with a headshop/hempshop concept. The concept was to be called Capitol Hemp.
Adam was a hemp advocate as was Alan. Above all, they both shared the love for the THC version of the cannabis plant.
In short, an exciting new partnership was born. Big things were going to happen.
